Kim Le Obituary

Kim Le November 18, 1933 - December 21, 2016 San Diego Kim Thu Thi Le was born on November 18, 1933 in Hanoi, North Vietnam. In 1953 she married Ngoc Thuy Pham, who passed away on February 5, 1962 at St. Paul Hospital in Saigon. She was employed from August 20, 1962 by National Bank, Saigon, to April 22, 1975, when she retired. She met John T. Malch, Saigon, on October 21, 1969 and they became engaged on May 31, 1971 in Saigon. On July 8, 1983 she became a US citizen as Kim Thu Thi Le aka "Kim Le." On December 23, 1990, Kim revisits Vietnam; with later visits 1994-97 and 2001. John and Kim resided in San Diego County since May 8, 1975, and they retired in San Diego some years ago. On December 21, 2016, Kim passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.Private services will be held. Her heart was pure, and her mind clear, and her soul devout.Kim Le's surviving loved ones and her living legacy, spouse, John T. Malch; five children: Anh Quoc Pham, Dung Quoc Pham, Lan Kim Pham, Ky Quoc Pham and Ngoc Kim Pham, twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
