LESTER POTTHAST

Lester passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2011. Lester retired after working in the insurance industry for 35 plus years as a claims manager for Aetna and a sales agent for the Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and graduate of St. Louis University. He was married for over 60 years to his loving wife Patricia. He participated in many civic and fraternal organizations including the Knights of Columbus and the Serra Club. He recently moved back to Fresno after spending 20 plus years in retirement, playing golf at Pine Mountain Lake near Groveland, Ca. Lester is survived by his wife Patricia; his son Matthew and his wife Ellita; his daughter, Lucy and her husband David; grandchildren, Christopher, Joseph, Marie and Jacob; and great-grandchildren, Kimber and Faith. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Newman Center Catholic Church with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 12, 2011, and the Funeral Mass to follow.
