MAX H. TAYLOR

Max passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 16, 2011, surrounded by family and his Pug Sassy Sue from a long and lengthy illness. He was born on December 13, 1933, in Harrisburg, Ar. to Clay and Eula Taylor. Max graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1952 and married La Verne Guynes on August 6, of the same year. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and proudly served in the Korean War. After his return he started his life career in the Trucking Industry in Fresno, Ca. He was known for his hard work and determination during challenges of life. He was preceded in death by his son, Max Henry Taylor Jr.; his sisters, Betty and Martha Jean; his brothers, Art and James; and his parents, Clay and Eula. He is survived by his wife La Verne; his three daughters, Kathy Ward, Theresa Capo and Melinda Cryer; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
