Steve F. Mendez Jr.

STEVE F. MENDEZ, JR. Steve, age 57, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2006, in Fresno, CA. Steve was born on June 1, 1948, in Clovis, CA to Steve F. Mendez, Sr. and Lucille Mendez. He is preceded in death by his father. Steve graduated from McLane High School. He served in the U.S. Army from February 13, 1967 to January 14, 1970. He was employed at Save Mart Stores until his illness a year ago. Steve lived his life to the fullest. He loved listening to music, visiting with friends and going to knife shows. Steve is survived by his mother, Lucille Mendez; brother, Craig Mendez and his wife Debbie and son Bill; and the love of his life, Barbara Williams. A Memorial Service will be at Lisle Funeral Home in the John N. Lisle Chapel on Monday, April 10, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery in Fresno, CA.
