Fresno, California - Tony Joseph Monaco died peacefully and surrounded by his family at Community Regional Medical Center on 13 July 2022 in Fresno, California at the age of 60. Tony is survived by: his children, Christina Monaco, Cathleen Ravelo (Wil), Anthony Monaco, and Angelica Monaco; his grandchildren, Ryan Grieve Jr., Adriana Grieve, Sophia Grieve, Wil Ravelo Jr., Walker Ravelo, Wyatt Ravelo, Waylon Ravelo, Orlando Obeso, and Maximus Monaco; his siblings, Frank Monaco (Trudi), Nancy Handel, Rita McNally (Jack), Annette Mick, Greg Monaco (Deborah), Sam Monaco (Farrell), and Denise Sapronetti (Don); and many nieces and nephews. Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Helen Delores Monaco (née De Franco) and Daniel Albert Monaco Sr.; and two of his siblings, Daniel Albert "Buck" Monaco Jr. and Gloria Jean Madrigal. Tony was born on 1 June 1962 in San Bernardino, California, to Helen Delores Monaco (née De Franco) and Daniel Albert Monaco Sr. and resided in Fresno, California, at the time of his passing. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 18th, at 11:00 AM at St Anne's Roman Catholic Church, 215 W Walnut St, Lodi, CA 95240, followed by burial service at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery at 719 E Harding Way, Stockton, CA 95204. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tony's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Catholic Charities at 149 N Fulton St, Fresno, CA 93701 (USA). Condolences can be posted to the online guestbook accompanying this obituary. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, chaplains, and staff at Community Regional Medical Center (Fresno, CA) for their care and dedication, and Rev. Salvador Gonzalez Jr. at St. John's Cathedral (Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno, California) for his kindness and compassion.
