U. ZIN Obituary

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, U Thet Zin went to his heavenly home on Friday, October 11, 2013, at the age of 92. He was born to parents U Ngwe Zin and Daw Aye Thet, in Yangon, Myanmar on October 7, 1921. U Thet Zin had an illustrious life that included services in Myanmar, State Agricultural Marketing Board (SAMB) and as official of the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations. He was also the founder and President of Zin International. He will be missed by Daw Khin Yi, his wife of 66 years; six children, Lilian and her husband Savit Nittayachinta, George and his wife Luzviminda, Adalbert, Bazil and his wife Juliet, Trevour, Benedict and his wife Jolene; seven grandchildren, Veronica, Chanmya, Michael, Valerie, Vanessa, Carolyn and Daniel. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
