Eric Ford Obituary
Ragland - Mr. Eric Tracy Ford, 56, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on January 11, 2021 in Birmingham.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Ford; daughter, Megan Ford; son, Nic Ford; parents, Jack and Joan Ford; sister, Genny Ball; brothers, Todd Ford and Scott Ford (Kim); and by many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Hardin's Chapel Bible Church with Bro. Doug Ford officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Through the Bible Radio Program or to Samaritan's Purse.
Condolences may be offered online at usreyfuneralhome.com. Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sad to hear of Eric´s passing. Eric was my first "crush" in 3rd grade. Eric always had a great smile for everyone. There was a kindness in him that was evident every day. I can´t imagine your pain and loss. Please know that he had a positive impact on people, even after years of not knowing him. I will pray for peace for his family until you meet again.

Eric Ford is my son. He was our baby boy! Thank you for leaving such kind words about Eric. Our foundation shook the day Jesus took him home. This is something we will never get over, but by the strength of faith and the love of Jesus, and many church members and friends, God will give us the peace we need to face each new day.

We work with Eric at Acker Electric and all of us have been so saddened to hear about his precious father. Surely Mr. Ford is a wonderful man because his son is such an outstanding man in all of our hearts. May God bring abundant peace and comfort to each of the family members as you walk thru this journey.

Eric was the first friend I made when my family moved to Southside in the early seventies. I still recall seeing the Fords taking a walk through my neighborhood and being gracious enough to stop and talk to my family at the edge of our front yard. After that chance meeting, Eric and I were best pals. Like most kids, we drifted apart in high school, but I always treasured our early friendship. The Fords were an extended family for me in my childhood years and they left an imprint on me that won’t come off. Eric was a good friend and an all-around good guy. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. The Ford family is deep in my heart as well as my prayers.
