Sharon Duncan Obituary
Gadsden - Sharon Duncan, 62, of Gadsden, died Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Sharon served as a mental health nurse for over 25 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a proud military wife.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, SGT Phil Duncan. She is survived by her son, P.J. Duncan; daughter, Sabrina Dingler; grandchildren, Dakota Duncan, Makenzi Duncan, Destiny Dingler, Liberty Dingler, and Declan Dingler; mother, Yvonne King; father, Randy Gutshall and special friend Jean Brandon; sister, Debbie Gutshall; brother, Randy Gutshall; a host of nieces and nephews; and her work family and special friend, the staff of Mountainview Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Declan Dingler and Dakota Duncan.
Special thanks to Dr. Shehi; and the doctors and staffs of Riverview Regional, Gadsden Regional, and Amedisys Home Health and Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2021, at Village Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Noble Hill Cemetery.
