William Wood Obituary
Born November 29, 1953 in Clearfield, the son of Ralph W. and Victoria M. (Cresswell) Wood.
William was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School, Class of 1971.
Mr. Wood had been employed at Soult Wholesale for 48 years, retiring in September of 2019.
He was a former member of the Clearfield Eagles. He enjoyed spending time at camp, his favorite place.
William is survived by his wife, Donna J. (Parks) Wood whom he married July 19, 1975, three children; Ryan Wood of Clearfield, Leslie Smeal of Clearfield and Jill Rhone and her husband Kenny of Curwensville, four grandchildren; Camryn, Brycen and Owen Smeal and Emma Rhone, a sister, Donna Kay Johnson of Meadville and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 7:00 PM. Interment will be in Wood Cemetery, Grampian.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until the hour of services.

Many memories of my dad and your dad hanging out at camp, at the races, ball games and more. It's hard to believe that my dad has been gone almost 3 years. My mom and I send thoughts to you all at this time.
