MALONEY, James J. "Butch" Of North Reading and formerly of Everett, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on September 10, 2021, at age 90. Beloved husband of 45 years to the late Norinne (Treanor) Maloney. Loving father of James Maloney and his wife Donna of North Reading, Chris Maloney of Beverly, Anne Maloney of North Reading and Brett Maloney of Middleton; brother of Loretta Barrasso of Everett; brother-in-law of Patricia Treanor of FL, Gene and Karen Treanor of Tasmania, Australia and the late Patricia Holt; brother of the late Thomas and Dorothy Maloney and Mary Goodwin; grandfather of four, Kelly and her husband Ricky Allston, Laura Maloney and Jeremiah, Jimmy Maloney and his wife Lauren and Danny Maloney; great-grandfather of nine, Karissa, Matthew, Lucy, Casey, Nora, Emmy, Bailey, Tyler James, Hazel and many nieces and nephews. Known to all as "Papa Butch." Funeral from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., NORTH READING on Saturday, September 18 from 9:15 AM, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. (Rt. 62), North Reading. Visitation on Friday, September 17 from 3 to 7 PM. Burial in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.
