June 24, 1941 - May 29, 2025
Shirley Ann Chambers passed away May 29, 2025, at her home in Milwaukie, Ore. She was 83 years old. Shirley was born June 24, 1941, in Corvallis, Ore. to her late parents, Paul and Dora Webber.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Fay Jensen of Salem, Ore.; her brother, Mark (Carla) Webber of Philomath, Ore.; her son, Rick (Debby) Chambers of Philomath, Ore.; daughter, Marcia (Richard) Haney of Milwaukie, Ore., daughter Paula Ball of Longview, Wash., and daughter Donna Koenig of Marina, Calif.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Shirley married Don Chambers and moved to Philomath where they raised their four children. After graduating from Oregon Beauty College she opened and ran Shirley Ann's Salon of Beauty at her home for over 30 years.
Viewing will be 3-5 p.m. Monday, June 9th, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel 1443 Long Street, Sweet Home. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 10th. at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Albany, Oregon.In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in Shirley's memory to the Gladstone Senior Center.Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements. www.sweethomefuneral.com.

I remember Shirley as another "Mom". Rhonda, Cheri, Marcia and I spent a great deal of time together and we shared our moms. Shirley made me feel like I was one of her daughters. She physically had a very tiny frame, but when she spoke you listened. :). She was a great mom and raised a fabulous family. She will be greatly missed.
