Bertha Beckham Obituary

Bertha Beckham, 95, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away Thursday March 24, 2022, at The Oaks of Woodfield in Grand Blanc. She was born on November 22, 1926, to the late Ben and Ruby (Stephen) Nowell. She married Robert Davis Beckham on November 26, 1941, in Philadelphia, Mississippi. He preceded her in death in November 2012.

She enjoyed living in the Gladwin area after their retirement. She was a devoted member of the Secord Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing cards, going to yard sales and fishing She and Bob were married 70 years and are survived by a son, David A. (Judy) Beckham; six grandchildren; also, many great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two sons, Michael D. Beckham and Robert W. Beckham; and 12 siblings. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 2, 2022, at noon from Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel with Pastor Timothy Lambert presiding with burial in McClure Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Secord Baptist Church.
