Roland Haas Obituary
A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Algona, with the Rev. Steve Turner officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Algona, with a flag presentation conducted by the Algona VFW and American Legion.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Algona, and will continue one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

1/21/'09 To Rhonda Haas-Huntze and relatives of Roland "Rollie" Haas,
My prayers and thoughts are with you as you mourn Rollies Loss. He always had friendly word and a great smile for everyone he met. I remember when He and Scotti lived on the farm North of Algona and my family and I visited. It was a lot of fun playing games. Rollie will be missed but his smile and friendly personality will live on forever. With Sincerest Sympathy, Mark J.VonBank-formerly of Algona, Iowa now living in Park Rapids, Minnesota. My Dad John VonBank(Tub) and Elizabeth VonBank(My Mom) were good friends of Rollie and Scotti. They always had great times together. Rollie and Scotti will be smiling down from heaven now.
