Earl Daniel Hedrick

CHATHAM, Va.Earl Daniel Hedrick, age 86, of 449 Walkers Well Rd. Chatham, Va., entered into rest on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at his residence.He was born on October 24, 1929, in Pittsylvania County, the son of the late Jack Hedrick and the late Selma Haskins Hedrick. He is survived by his wife, Sue Osborne Hedrick.He was a member of Oak Ridge Christian Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired tobacco farmer and ran the 29 Auction for many years.In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Barbara Reynolds and her husband, Gary of Penhook, Marian Hedrick and her husband, John Gleber of Chatham, and Rebecca Crawley and her husband, Jeff of Chatham; two grandchildren, Keegan Crawley and his wife, Anna of Callands and Thomas Crawley of Penhook; two great-grandchildren, Charles Crawley and Daniella Crawley, both of Callands; a brother, Junior Hedrick and his wife, Betty of Renan; and a special brother-in-law, Randolph Osborne.Funeral services will be conducted at Scott Funeral Home on Monday, August 15, 2016, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Swanson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.The family will receive friends at Scott Funeral Home on Sunday August 14, 2016. from7 till 8 p.m. and at other times will be at the residence, 449 Walkers Well Rd.
