Shirley Enzer Obituary
CALABASAS, Ca. - Shirley Harvey Enzer, 81, died Friday, February 27, 2004 in Calabasas, Calif.
Born Feb. 22, 1923, in Pittsylvania Co., she was a daughter of the late Myrptis Harvey, Sr. and Stella Moon Harvey.
She was a graduate of Radford University and State Teachers College and taught at Indiana University, Los Angeles Jr. College, Pierce College and Northridge College. She was an active member of Church on the Way, Van Nuys, Calif.
She is survived by a son, Earl Enzer of Pacific Palisades, CA; two daughters, Regina Whitcomb of Altadena, CA and Theresa Gorton of San Diego, CA; three sisters, Willathea Hammack of Danville, Barbara Ann Kamps of Midlothian and Marguerite Berky of Lincoln Park, MI; and four grandchildren.
She was predeceased by an infant daughter, a sister, Wynona Harvey and four brothers, Earl Franklin Harvey, Myrptis Harvey, Jr., Maughton Harvey and Gernon L. Harvey.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gretna Burial Park with the Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating.
Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Gretna is in charge of arrangements.
