Gregory Harrison Obituary

Gregory S. Harrison, age 53, of Edwardsville, died at 12:45 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2016, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born on July 30, 1962, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the son of Dorothy (Niemeyer) Harrison and the late Robert Harrison.
Gregory married Lynley Germo on August 22, 1984, in St. Louis. She survives.
He is also survived by two daughters, Jessica Harrison of Chicago, Illinois, Lindsay Harrison of North Platte, Nebraska; the little girls, Tori & Hannah; two sisters, Marcia Prater & husband Dale of Glen Carbon, Brenda Futch of Granite City, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
Gregory was an avid reader, history buff, St. Louis sports fan and quite the character – he lived to make others laugh.
A memorial visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Knight officiating.
In Gregory's honor, his body was donated to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
The family asked that memorials be given to Benld Adopt-A-Pet or Anderson Hospital ICU.
