I'm so sorry for your loss. Bob was my dad's best friend who was Bill Kiel. My parents and Bob and his mom would go out to dinner every month and after his mom passed, they still went out every month. They worked together for those 32 years at Laclede Steel. He and my dad did a lot of things together and always talked. When my dad got cancer, he would come over and sit with my dad and give my mom a break so she could go out and run errands until he passed in 2005. He would come over here to Godfrey and put a flag on my dad's grave every year on memorial day. When my mom passed in 2017, he was there at the funeral home for us. He was a great friend to our folks and such a great guy. I will keep your family in my prayers during this difficult time.
Therese (Kiel) Pohlman - daughter of Bill and Rose Marie Kiel
