Susan Pedersen Obituary
Susan was a computer programmer and office manager.
She was born January 30, 1945, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of the late Robert D. & Beverley (Bradley) Shakstad.
She married Robert C. Pedersen on September 4, 1966, in Sioux Falls. Besides her husband Robert she is survived by 2 sons, Chad Pedersen & wife Jennifer of Glen Carbon and Brad Pedersen of Edwardsville; 1 daughter, Kari Finklang of Imperial, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Collin & Cameron Pedersen, Kolai & Sasha Finklang, and Pyper Pedersen.
She is also survived by a number of cousins.
Sue was a member of the Metro Community Church in Edwardsville. Along with her husband Robert she owned and operated Schwartz's HealthMart in Edwardsville.
She was former President of the Business & Professional Women and was recipient of the Athena Award from the Edwardsville Chamber of Commerce.
She was proud of being Honored Queen of Job's Daughters. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Steffaniak. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon.
Memorials may be given to the Mary Crowley Cancer Research Center.
