Feliciano Barron Obituary

SAN ANGELO Feliciano "Chano" Barron, 83, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009, at Shannon Medical Center. Feliciano was born on June 20, 1926, to Francisco and Carolina (Velasquez) Barron in Vegalarga, Mexico. He married Genoveva Maciel on Jan. 20, 1952, in Mexico and was a laborer for Concho Packing. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Father David Herrera officiating. Arrangements by Robert Massie Funeral Home. He is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Carolina Barron; and siblings Catarino, Pedro, and Brigida Barron, and grandchild John Peter Barron. Survivors include wife Genoveva of San Angelo; daughters Hermilinda Barron of Mexico, Lazara Moreno and husband Santos, Carolina Chavarria and husband Juan, Monaly Ruiz and husband Ricardo; sons Eliborio Barron and wife Maria, Juan Barron and wife Yvonne, and Manuel Barron; grandchildren Joe Angel, Luis, and Fernando Moreno; Diana Veronica, Claudia, Cesar, and Cynthia Chavarria; Maria Perez, Richard, & Myra Ruiz; Candy & Marissa Barron; Luis, Crystal, and Christian Barron and blessed with 29 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank all the medical staff at Shannon Medical Center, especially Dr. Coughlin. Feliciano's obituary and guestbook may be viewed online at www.RobertMassie.com.
