Steven Presley Obituary
Irving, TX
Steven James Presley, 57 of Irving, passed away Saturday July 7, 2018. Interment will take place at a future date at a National Veterans Cemetery. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station, Texas.
Steven was born September 22, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, to Clifton and Paula Presley. He most recently worked as a support specialist for Verizon. Steven was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he proudly served during Desert Storm I and II. While in the military, he used the nickname Elvis. He was proud of the work he did in the military and would share about his travels to anyone who would listen.
Steven had a wonderful relationship with Jesus. His faith stood the test of time thru his journey with cancer. He lived every day as if it was his last and would share his faith in words and in his actions. He worshiped every Sunday at Irving Bible Church and enjoyed spending time with his Thrive group. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7 & 8
He was preceded in death by his father Clifton Presley.
Survivors include his son, Samuel James Presley; daughter, Heather King and husband Justin; mother, Paula Presley; brother, Rick Presley and wife Candy; sister, Susan Presley; nephews, Jimmy Ray, Stuart Bingham, Thomas Lamb, Timothy Lamb, Alex Presley, Jacob Hammond, Riley Buckner; Nieces, Anastasia Culbertson, Andrea Presley, Alisha Presley, Angelica Presley, and Shannon Bingham. Great nieces and nephews.
