Betsy Lee Chamberlain, age 83, of Spring Lake, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. She was born on June 11, 1941, in Los Angeles, California, to Russell and Sophia (Mayer) Schneider.
Betsy Lee married Gordon Chamberlain on September 2, 1961. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2000, after 38 years of marriage.
Betsy Lee was a resident of the Tri-Cities area since 1980. She was an active volunteer at Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging and at Ferry Elementary School for the Voyager Program. Betsy Lee enjoyed reading, boating, and especially spending time with family; most importantly, her grandchildren.
Betsy Lee will be lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Kimberlyn (Michael) Chamberlain-Kroll; sons, Mike Chamberlain and Craig (Uilani) Chamberlain; six beloved grandchildren: Ryan, Matthew, and Mikaela Kroll, Cameron, Tualatai, and Kealakai Chamberlain; and her sister, Joanna Zangrando. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers: Russell, James, and David Schneider.
A Celebration of Life for Betsy Lee will be held at a later date to be announced. Interment will be at Spring Lake Township Cemetery.
