Dear Dorothy and families
was sad to hear of the passing of a very special gentleman that we came to know when my husband Jerry was their minister for the 12 years we were in the Harlowton area where we served not only Harlowton Federated Methodist, but Judith Gap, Hobson and Moore. We remember the time when Dorothy and Jim moved into the assisted living place in Lewistown and saw what a nice place it was.
Being that there was already a commital in the Judith Gap Cemetery, did he have military rites as well as Masonic, and American Legion recognition? We know that he was very active in them. my husband Jerry was in the Wheatland Masonic order while living in Harlow. He was a past master of his lodge in Thermopolis, Wyoming as was his father. Our daughters were in Jobs daughters as Honored Queens. One in Billings and one in Thermopolis.
Jim was a very kind gentleman and know that he will be missed not only by his family but all of those that knew him.
We know that when Jim spoke his mind we listened.
Rest In Peace Jim and may God wrap His loving arms around your family and friends and give them the comfort and strength they need to get through the difficult days ahead and may they feel your presence.
As of Sept. 2019 Jerry retired, and will move probably next summer to Billings. not sure of our plans since we have our youngest daughter and family living with us, and it will depend on jobs. We have two loving grandchildren, and Ella was just 4 January 9th, and Ryan was 1 January 4th. they are a delight.
Will be thinking of all of you especially Feb. 8th when the service for Jim will be. May the message you hear give you the comfort and peace you are needing. Blessings to all of you and may you know that Jim, Dorothy, and family will be remembered in many special ways.
Love in Christ
