Kathleen Stossel

1949 - 2022

Kathleen "Kathy" Stossel age 72, was born on September 4th, 1949, in Brush CO, to Dale & Helen Gray (Rutledge), and she went to be with the Lord on June 21st, 2022 in Dacono CO with family by her side. Kathy was the youngest of 3 children. As she grew up and started her family, she was described as a wonderful homemaker, she loved to make her children clothes and do their hair. In her free time, she loved to crochet, design greeting cards, scrapbook & spend time with family and friends. She also had a pass to the Rocky Mountain National Park which she loved to visit with her late husband Richie and practice her photography. Kathy also was an active member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Greeley, CO. Kathy is survived by two of her three children, daughter Shelley Sable of Brighton CO, (her children, Rodney Knodel, Kortni Reich & her husband Brenton, and Khloe Knodel), son Shane & his wife Tarah Sable of Dacono CO (their children Dakota Costabile & his wife Shelby & their children Brooklynn & their unborn son, Shavelle Fultz & her husband Ryan). She is also survived by one sibling, Butch Gray & his wife Mary. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, older sister Patty Gray, and Kathy's first son William Thomas. Memorial contributions should be made out to either of the following: S.I.D.S or to the Wildlife Sanctuary directly. Services will be held by the family on June 28th at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Greeley, CO. Services to begin at 10 A.M. Please send flowers directly to the church.
