Glen Bailey Obituary

Glen Bailey, 66, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, surrounded by his family. Born on January 13, 1946, he is the son of the late Amos and Elizabeth Bailey. Glen was born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia. He married the former Nancy Wendlandt on November 29, 1967, in Charleston, WV. Glen enjoyed singing and playing guitar, keyboard, harmonica, banjo, organ, piano, and the drums. He was a distant relative of Hank Williams. Glen loved his childhood dog, Pete. He was most proud of his family and loved ones.

Glen is survived by his wife of 44 years Nancy; three sons, Jeffrey, Jason, and Joseph (Denise) Bailey all of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Billy Bailey, Bobby Bailey, and Donald Smith; two sisters, Susan and Vernita; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Amos; one sister, Blanche.

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St., Monday from 4 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 7 PM at the funeral home with Deacon Michael Vincent officiating. Visit www.malcorefuneralhome.com to send an online condolence.
