Shirley Dickinson Obituary
De Pere - Shirley A. Dickinson, age 81, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. Shirley was born in De Pere, WI to the late Joseph and Agnes Lebrun, and was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, Green Bay. She went on to graduate from the Accredited School of Beauty Culture in Green Bay and worked as an instructor at the Wisconsin School of Cosmetology for over 30 years. Shirley maintained a strong inner faith and deeply loved her family. She was notably a kind, giving, and intensely loyal woman, who lived her life to serve others.
Shirley was married for 61 years to her high school sweetheart, Donald E. Dickinson, and became a loving mother to her 3 sons, Jeffrey, Todd (Catherine), and Mark (Diane), and 2 grandsons; Matthew, and Bradley. She is survived by her brother, Darold. Shirley will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may visit at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Drive, Ledgeview, on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 10:00am until 11:00am. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am with the Rev. Richard Getchel officiating. Inurnment will be at Allouez Mausoleum, Allouez. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. Ray and I are so sorry we will not be able to attend the Mass for Shirley today. We do want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Shirley and I went to school together and we were friends long before I met her first cousin Ray LeBrun.
Ray said he has many fond memories of his Uncle Joe and helping him on the farm.
