Connie Ann (Randall) Pridemore, of Greeneville, passed away Sunday peacefully in her home after a 5-year battle with cancer. Born Jan. 29, 1955, she was 69 years old.
She retired after 30 years of service from The Greeneville Sun.
She attended Towering Oaks Baptist Church for many years and attended Calvary Chapel Greeneville more recently as she was able.
The family expresses a thank you to Amedisys of Greeneville for their wonderful care and support while she was in hospice care. and thank you to Tennessee Cancer Specialist in Greeneville, especially Joshua Buck, for their continuous care and love. The family would also like to thank all those who have prayed, brought food, or helped in other ways.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton chapel. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m. in Jeffers Afton Chapel. Officiating the service will be Pastor Gary Hall.
The burial will follow in GraceLand Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will include Johnny Mauk, Phil Mauk, Jason Mauk, Haden Mauk, William Wines Jr., and Brandon Wines.
Survivors include a son: Alan Jones; a daughter: Nikki (Jacob) Wines; granddaughters: Erica Jones, Shyanne Wines, and Scarlett Wines; brothers: Gary (Pat) Randall, Terry Randall, and Phil (Maxine) Randall; and sisters: Darlene (Rocky)Baxley, Donna (Johnny) Mauk, and Robin Carter. She had many special nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as treasured friends.
She was preceded in death her husband: George F. Pridemore Jr.; and her parents: Hubert and Kathleen Randall.
