Charles Dickens Obituary
Mr. Charles W. Dickens, Jr., 78, of Gibsonville, NC, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Moses H. Cone Hospital.
A native of Alamance County, he was son of the late Charles William Dickens, Sr. and Mary Blanche Phillips Dickens. Mr. Dickens was a regional credit manager with Hyundai Motor Finance Company, and a US Army veteran.
Surviving are a sister, Beverly Dickens of Gibsonville; two brothers, Ben Dickens of Burlington and Danny Dickens of Gibsonville; three nieces, Kathleen Dickens, Brooke Burlingame and Christa Rutledge; a nephew, Charles William Dickens; and six great-nieces and -nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham, with Rev. Dr. Aaron N. Burlingame officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m., prior to the service.
