REIDSVILLE David Craig, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 2 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church in Reidsville, NC with Rev. Christy Clore officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m., at Wilkerson Funeral Home, and other times at the home of his daughter, Gina Ledbetter. Mr. Craig was born on November 16, 1941, in Rockingham County to the late Joseph Armfield Craig and Ruby Mayhew Craig. He loved his family, church and his beloved dog, Chilly. Often, he could be found at Sanitary Café eating breakfast or riding his tractor on their property. Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his grandson, Holden T. Ledbetter. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Sandra Shelton Craig; daughter, Gina Ledbetter and husband Taylor; son, David Craig II; sister, Swaim Strong; grandson, Jordan Ledbetter; granddaughters, Kayla Craig Lawson and Emily Carter; great-grandson, Hunter Lawson, along with a large extended family. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 318 South Main Street, Reidsville, NC 27320.
