Mark Ayers Truitt

GREENSBORO MARK AYERS TRUITT, 57, PASSED AWAY January 17, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with his loving family and friends surrounding him. Mark was born August 3, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio to John Mark and Mildred Irene Forsthe Truitt. Mark's funeral service will be 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, at Flat Rock United Methodist Church at 6720 Hwy 158 Stokesdale, with the Pastor Tim Drum officiating. The interment will be at Gethsemane United Methodist Church Cemetery immediately following the service.Mark was loved by all that knew him. He was a wonderful and loving husband, a loving and devoted father. Mark worked for Duke Energy for 30 years. He was a member and trustee at Flat Rock UMC. Motorcycles and boating were his favorite pass times. He also loved the time with his horses and dogs. Mark was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet; two sons Benjamin and Cody; his mother; a brother David and his wife Angela; many nieces and nephews; and many great friends. The family will receive friends 58 p.m. Tuesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. The family request in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Building Fund at Flat Rock UMC, P.O.
