Chuck Earley Obituary

Chuck Earley

Taylors

Charles Frederick "Chuck" Earley passed away on January 14, 2016, at his home in Taylors, South Carolina, at the age of 74. He was born in Miami, Florida, to Margaret and Gordon Earley. He received his Master's degree in Geology from Florida State University, and became an oil exploration geophysicist, traveling the globe working for J. Paul Getty of Getty Oil Britain.

After he left the corporate world, he was an inventor, entrepreneur, and teacher. One of his favorite hobbies was planting his garden and watching things grow.

He was a loving husband of 38 years to Mary Lou Earley and a wonderful father to his daughter, Jeanette, and son, Jeff. His brothers, John and David, loved him dearly and held him in the highest regard.

His charitable nature was shown in contributions to many organizations. If you wish, you can honor him with a donation to a worthy charity of your choosing.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, Jan. 24, from 2-4 at View Point at Buckhorn Creek, 3411 State Park Rd., Greenville 29609 to remember a gentle man, loved and admired by many. Condolences may be expressed at www.MackeyMortuary.com.
