Greenville
Norman "Perry" Miller, 75, of Greenville, husband of Linda Sherry Tucker Miller, died Monday, July 22, 2013.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late William and Ethel Bagwell Miller.
Mr. Miller graduated from Parker High School in 1955 and served in the US Army. He worked for more than 20 years in insurance sales before retiring. He was a member of Cherrydale Place Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for 40 years and was a member of Sam Poe Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his loving wife of 53 years, he is survived by daughter, Tee Lena Butler; and grandchildren, Charles Allen Newton and Crystal Elizabeth Newton.
He was preceded in death by brothers, William "Bill" Miller and Gary Lee Miller.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cherrydale Place Baptist Church, 2300 Old Buncombe Road, Greenville, SC 29609.
The family will be at the residence.
