Graveside services for Mrs. Garrison conducted by Rev. Lewis Edwards will be held at 11:00 AM Friday morning in the mausoleum chapel at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Vera Myrtle Medlock Garrison, 98, formerly of Oak Lane in Liberty, died Wednesday at Manna Health and Rehab in Pickens. Born in Pickens, she was the widow of the late Ernest Casper Garrison and a daughter of the late Ruben and Annie James Medlock. She was retired from Woodside Mills and was a member of East Side Baptist Church.

Surviving are 2 sons, David Garrison and his wife Ruth of Pickens and Dan Garrison and his wife Linda of Easley; a daughter in law, Carol Garrison of Easley; 4 grandsons; and 10 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son, Dr. Don Garrison, retired President of Tri County Technical College; a sister, Bernice Edwards; 2 brothers, Carvin and Heyward Medlock; and a granddaughter, Lynn Garrison.
