Bill was my best friend as a child in Smyrna. We went to each other's birthday parties; shared the same Sunday School classes, and later went on to High School together. He is central to MANY of the happiest memories of my childhood. Though we didn't keep in touch as adults, I honor him as one of the true friends I have been fortunate to have.
