Gerda was always eager for a laugh, a good conversation, or a new adventure. We always loved seeing her pedal by the house on her tandem bike/buggy. And she was a killer bridge player. I'm happy I was lucky enough to know her.

Dear Gerda, You, whom I met only this past Summer and treasured every moment with you once we got to know each other better, you told me stories of how u met your wonderful husband Karl of many years and stories of your growing up in Germany and studying Architecture and how proud your dad was of you. I'll always treasure our "garden time" girl talk as we just named it that recently. May one day we meet again!! I so thank your wonderful daughter, Heide, who loves you so very very much for introducing us!!!! Your children were so lucky to have you as a mother and you told me you loved them very much and also your grandchildren!!! Your friend, catrina. .Gerda, Miss you much already!!!!!
