A resident of Independence, LA, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his home in Independence, LA. He was born June 22, 2009 in Hammond, LA and was 12 years of age.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher Alexander, Sr. and Wendy; paternal grandparents, Chester C. Alexander, Jr. and Shirley Whiddon Alexander; aunts, Leslie Alexander Brumfield and husband, David and Lavina Marti and husband Ronnie; cousins, Kelsey Slade and husband, Peyton and D.J. Brumfield, Alexander Marti, Nichole Addison and husband Jared, Hanna Miller and husband, Sean, Sarah Addison and Jamie Addison. Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Perry; paternal great-grandparents, Chester C. Alexander, Sr. and wife, Lillian and Albert M. Whiddon and Milbur T. Whiddon.
Visitation at Light House Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until religious services at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021. Interment Lighthouse Cemetery, Independence, LA. McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, in charge of arrangements.

CJ was such a bright, lively boy in the time I knew him. I was the 2-year-old teacher at Lil’ Magic Kingdom Daycare while CJ attended. I’m so incredibly sorry to hear of his passing. I pray your family finds peace and comfort in the arms of the Lord. I pray for the healing of your hearts.
