EVARTS — Dorothy Hubbard, 74, of Evarts, went home to be with our Lord, Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Born August 28, 1941 in Evarts, she had lived here all of her life. Dorothy was a stay at home mom who raised three children, a devoted wife and a member of the Turner Baptist Church.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Agnes Steel Howard; her husband, Tip Hubbard; one daughter, Sabrina Nanatte Hubbard; and one brother, Bob Howard.
Survivors include three children, Darryl (Dewayne) Howard, Evarts; Matthew Keith Hubbard and wife, Pam, New Tazewell; and Anastasia Michelle Kirby and husband, Nathaniel, Morristown; her three beloved sisters, Patsy Titkeymeyer, Julia Vanover and Jane Helton. These sisters shared a special bond that now has a void, but will never be forgotten.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Andrew Howard, Westley Howard, Joshua Hubbard, Alexandria Hubbard, Gunnar Crawford, Elijah Hubbard, Kaydon Kirby and Nicholas Hubbard; one great grandbaby, Miss Zoey Paige Hubbard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 until 8 PM at the Evarts Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, April 1, 2016, at 1 PM at the Howard Family Cemetery, Red Bud, with the Reverend Jerry Kirby officiating.

Prayers for comfort during this difficult time. Dorothy was one of the sweetest ladies I had the privilege to meet through her visits to McDonald's drive-thru for her daily Caramel Frappe. I will miss her sweet smiling face. She brought joy to my day,
