Alice Elinor Gustafson

1924 - 2018

Alice Gustafson, formerly of Marlborough, CT, passed away on Thursday, July 26. 2018 at Avery Heights in Hartford. She was the daughter of the late A. Manfred Olsen and Emmy T. Olsen. She was born in Hartford on March 13, 1924 and was the widow of the late Clarence "Skeets" Gustafson. Alice was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hartford and graduated from Hall HS in West Hartford. Alice was a proud Mother and Wife of Skeets, they will be in eternity together after being married for over 70 years. She played bridge, traveled and golfed until 85. Gardening and home cooking were some of her specialties; nobody was sweeter. Alice is survived by: her son, Lee Gustafson and wife, Susan, of Glastonbury; her daughter, Ann Mosher, and husband, Wayne, of Gardiner, NY; two grandchildren: Jesse Gustafson and wife, Valerie, Emmy Heley and husband, Andy and two great-daughters, Jordan Gustafson and Lyla Heley.
