Amanda Lorraine (Marcroft) Jordan, 46, of Enfield, CT loving wife of the late Gunnery Sgt.Phillip A. Jordan, USMC entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Hartford Hospital. Amanda was born August 4, 1968, in Bridgeport, CT. Amanda loved spending time at the beach with her family and friends and loved animals of all kinds. Amanda will be remembered as a loving wife to her late husband and loving mother to her son, Tyler. Amanda is survived by her beloved son, Tyler of Enfield; her mother, Gretchen Paretzky and step-father, Jay Paretzky of Westport, CT; her father, Frank Marcroft of Norwalk, CT; a brother, Scott Kyle Marcroft and wife, Tish of Louisville, KY; three aunts, Suzanna Stammer and Mary Brainard both of Lexington, KY and Carolyn Punzelt of Maine; two step-sisters, Noreen Rinaldo of Stratford, CT and Karen Kelleher of Farmington, CT and many dear friends. In addition to her husband, Gny Sgt. Phillip A. Jordan, she was also predeceased by her step-mother, Kathleen Marcroft. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Saturday, April 4, 2015, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service in celebration of Amanda's life will begin at 11:30 am. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.
