Conrad Joseph Sirois

Conrad Joseph Sirois, 66, of Blue Hills Dr., Southington, beloved husband of Janice (James) Sirois, passed away at his home on Wednesday, (November 28, 2001) after a long illness. Born in New Brunswick, Canada on April 13, 1935, the son of Marie (Goupil) and the late Eugene Sirois. Conrad was a Southington/Cheshire resident for over 40 years. Conrad was a longtime member of St. Aloysius Church. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus Isabella Council. Conrad founded and operated A-1 Tree Experts until 1985. He founded and was past President of House of Doors in both Salem and Cheshire, and continued to work until his illness. He was one of the organizers and founders of Apple Valley Bank in Trust of Cheshire. In addition to his mother Marie and his wife Janice, Conrad is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Marlene and Michael Masciangioli of Southington, Lucille Pajor of Berlin; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Conrad D. Sirois of Berlin, Paul J. and Michelle Sirois of Cheshire, Donald and Denise Sirois of Cheshire, Paul and Lori Bozeman of Maine; a brother and sister-in-law, J. Paul and Irmgard Sirois of Maine; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Claudette and George Puig, Lilia Durand, both from Florida; 15 precious grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Eugene and his brother, Julian Sirois. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 9 a.m. at the Plantsville Memorial Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville, with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
