Happy Birthday Aunty!!!!

I miss you so much, it's been way too long since your passing. How in the world have we been dealing with loosing you....I guess the only way for us to find sanity is to just remember all the good times. I miss staying up all night playing "rummy" and "trouble". I also remember when I was pregnant with Savannah, you really helped me feel like everything was going to be okay. I thank god that we had the chance to be close to eachother. I miss your apartment on Barker, we had alot of fun there. Thankyou for looking out for me when I was young and out of control. I really miss the "cabbage and Kalbasa", the "split pea soup", and the "pepperoni soup" you used to make. Most of all I miss your big blue eyes. I love you! I hope your hangin out with Dolores and Jonathan. I'll see you guys when I get there... Till we meet again!!!!

SANTIAGO, Edna Sylvia (Burgor) Edna Sylvia (Burgor) Santiago, 56, of Lakeworth, FL, formerly of Hartford, died Tuesday (June 20, 2000). She is survived by her former husband, Hector Santiago of Hartford; three sons, Edward "Eddie" Burgor and his wife Julie of Wisconsin, Mark Burgor and his wife Toni of Las Vegas, NV, and Jesse Santiago of West Palm Beach, FL; a daughter, Jennifer Santiago of West Palm Beach, FL; nine grandchildren; four brothers, Eugene Greene, Fred Burgor, John Burgor, and Mitchell Burgor; four sisters,Mary Garay, Sharon Matos, Josephine Ayala, and Phyllis Burgor; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, June 26, 10 a.m. at the D'Esopo East Hartford Funeral Chapel, 30 Carter St., East Hartford, with burial following in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, 1-4 p.m. at the chapel. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, 06450.
