Nancy was full of Love, except of course when she was winning at tennis and her opponent had the "Love". We miss her so much. Our thoughts are together with all of you on this day as we celebrate her full and joyous life wherever we are. Margaret, Carter, Jim, and Gordon Waid.

To Nancy,
On one bright summer day,
Quietly, you left,
You brought with you the countless wonderful memories.
At far away crossroads,
You look back the eighty one years of life,
You smiled,
Yes, I am so glad I took this trip to the world.
Nancy, we will miss you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr. Gilbert's family. It was a joy to work in the presence of Mrs. Nancy. We will never forget the warmth her smile brought to the office each and every day.

We were fortunate to meet Nancy a fews time thru our sister-in-law Cathy. I remember she was always smiling and happy, so I can understand everyones words on her behalf. When reading the obituary, and seeing what is written about her qualities, accomplishments & compassion, I think of Cathy right away..so much like her mother. Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to the entire family.

When the Gilbert family visited Berlin for a whole year with all their three daughtes while Jennifer still went to Kindergarden we had enjoyed Nancy's kind and joyful personality always being in a great mood. Whenever later we have met her in Newark or at mathematical conferences she was the same, always well-balanced and happy. We will miss her. Our thoughts go to Bob, Cathy, Carol, Jenny and their families.
