I met Jen C at BBC. As a customer, I always asked for her as our waitress. She had a wonderful spirit about her where she could turn the worst days into the best days. I just heard about her passing. The world has lost a wonderful person, but she will live on in our memories.

I remember the day Jen was born. What an exciting day that was.
27 short years of putting a smile on all of the faces she met.

While it has been more than 10 years since I last saw Jen, I still vividly remember her love for life. And color-from the rainbow colored socks to the way her eyes would grow huge when excited. She certainly touched my life and I owe to her my love for wildly patterned socks, and scouring thrift stores but most importantly her free spirit and immeasurable joy. I know her spirit lives on.

I'm shocked and saddened at the news. I worked with Jen at Friendly's for a number of years and we were tight. Her quirky outgoing personality definitely had an impact on everyone she waited on and worked with. She was also very intelligent. Working crappy morning hours at a chain restaurant was more fun with her around. I'm glad she atleast realized her dream of teaching kids.

I moved back to Boston in 2006 after spending 25 years in New York City. The Boston Billiards Club is where I met Jen and she immediately made me feel welcomed. I looked forward to her smile each week. She will truly be missed. What a beautiful soul.

Jen was my daughters teacher last year in PreK. I cannot tell you how much she was loved, she would attend any of the childrens birthday parties if asked and held such affection for all of the kids. She was so instrumental in helping my daughter return to Sacred Heart for this year. My heart truly breaks for you. My daughter who is 5 now, for the past 2 days looks up to the sky and tells her how much she misses her...She was that special. God Bless and may you find comfort in your memories and eachother.

It was the summer of '98 that has, and will always, stick in my mind the most. That was the year in which I had met and got to know Jen. She belonged to a pack of great friends that grew very close. We had the most amazing times! That summer and the years surrounding have always been one of the most important and influential times in my adolescence. Still to this day, I compare many things from my adulthood to those days. I am so glad that she is apart of those memories.
