I have recently learned of the passing of Joey. My condolence goes out to all of Joey's family and relatives.
Joey accomplished a tremendous amount of respect since knowing him for the last 20 years. I will always cherish the many memories of the the good times
and laughter we shared. His soul is finally at peace with the Lord. God Bless you "Joey" my true friend. You will surely be missed.

Dear Joey,
I will never forget the kind and loving way that you comforted me when I first came into the program, nor will I forget the instant connection that we had(thanks to Isaiah).The endless rides, the countless talks, the many fellowshiping activities that we enjoyed going to together will always remain beautiful memories that will live on in my heart. Braxton will miss your silly jokes and your rides on the back of the bike. I will miss your love and compassion for life. Have no fear for you are welcomed by your loving family and mine as well. May you live on now content and painfree. I await the day that I will see your face again, when you will WELCOME me with open arms once again. We love you dearly and will miss you emensly but i now know that there is one more ANGEL watching over me. God bless.

Joey My Loving Cousin,
Where to start..with the crazy jokes you always told (you could make anyone laugh regardless of their mood!)? The motorcycle rides? Your caring nature; always there to help someone in need, lend an ear when someone needed to talk, lend a shoulder when someone needed to cry. Regardless of what you were doing at the time you always made sure that you were available when someone you cared about needed you. I am "overwhelmed" by the sadness i feel in my heart but then i think about the memories, the time we spent together, the secrets we share and i will have them now and forever and that is what will make me smile every time your name is mentioned. Destiny has changed the course of your life for a reason and i am certain it is to continue your work in Heaven as one of "God's Angels". Rest in Peace My Dearest Cousin I love You xoxo

Joey, it's hard for me to put in to words how much it meant to me each time I saw you and you yelled out "Here's Johnny" when we met. You always had a big smile and so many laughs. I'm sorry we didn't know each other longer but I feel like we had been friends forever. You truly were an inspiration to me! I will miss you my friend. Rest well and god bless.

Jody, I am so sorry for your (our) loss. You might not remember me but when you did that video with your Dad I was there also. I will put you and your family in my prayers to help you get through this tough time. I had the pleasure of starting on my "journey" with Joey some 17 years ago. I saw him grow and blossom into an amazing, caring and loving individual. He was always there to help in anyway he could. His legacy truly lives on. I will miss him dearly and think of him often.

Will never forget your welcoming smile and genuine love for the addict known to your and/or you never met before. Your first hug felt like I had known you for years. We shared a true love for our grandchildren and as you shared about them...I will never forget how your face would light up at the simple last memory you had of their hugs and unconditional love for you...May you RIP with your 2-step...East Hartford recovery will definately miss you...May the family find peace during this difficult time.
