Louise SCUSSELL Obituary

SCUSSELL, Louise Louise Scussell, 94, of Curtis St., Stafford Springs, CT, loving wife of the late William Scussell, passed away on Thursday (December 16, 2010). She was born in Willington, CT, daughter of the late Joseph and Clementina (Callegari) Bardini. Louise was an athlete in her early years playing softball and basketball for local industrial and town teams. She worked as a fabricator/inspector in area textile mills retiring from the former Stafford Printers in 1980. Louise was a member of St. Edward Parish, active with the Stafford Senior Center and took great pleasure in gardening and spending time with her family; her annual Labor Day picnic which was attended by four generations of the greater family always culminated the summer. Louise is survived by her son Douglas Scussell and his wife Faye of Stafford Springs and daughter Diane Myhill and her husband Carl of Southbury; her grandchildren Gina Mungovan and husband Robert, Audrey Temelini and husband Alfredo, Eric Myhill and wife Debbie, and Greg Myhill and wife Ellen; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister and three brothers. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care provided by Gloria Galica. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday (December 28, 2010), with a procession forming by 10 a.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Monday (December 27, 2010) from 4–7 P.M. at the funeral home.
