HOEHNE, Lynn Anne (Mendes) Lynn Anne (Mendes) Hoehne, 43, of Farmington, beloved wife of Ronald K. Hoehne, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, (April 30, 2005), after a yearlong battle with cancer. Lynn was born February 7, 1962, daughter of Joan Tellier of Windsor and Diquel Mendes of East Granby, and lived in Windsor many years, Glastonbury, and Farmington the past 10 years. She graduated from Windsor High School in 1980 where she was Editor-in-Chief of the "Tomahawk"; participated in the Westminster World Affairs Seminar in Spain; and played flute in the concert band. She earned her degree from Hartford College for Women in 1982, her RN from St. Francis School of Nursing, and was a registered nurse at Cedarcrest Hospital since 1987. Lynn's favorite pastimes included reading, crocheting, scrap booking, and traveling, especially to warm climates by the shore. She also enjoyed gatherings with family and friends. Besides her husband, Ron and her parents she leaves her loving daughters, Lauren Lee, Alexa Lynn, and Leah Alison all at home; two sisters, Lisa Maslowski of East Granby and Lora and her husband, Barry Leasure of Matthews, NC; her great-great grandmother, Maria Noiva of Hartford; her husband's parents, Kurt and Illa Hoehne of Newington; and nephews and nieces, Mark, Megan, Michael Leasure, and Jared Maslowski. She was predeceased by grandparents, Oscar and Agnes Carlson, and Jose and Idalina Mendes. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be Saturday, May 7, 11 a.m. at Valley Community Baptist Church, 590 West Avon Road, Avon. A reception will follow the service. Lynn's family wishes to express their thanks for the incredible generosity of the Cedarcrest Hospital staff, Centerbrook Drive neighborhood, Valley Community Baptist Church, and countless friends over the past year. They ask that you continue to hold them in your thoughts and prayers as they face life without Lynn. Contributions may be made to the Hoehne Family Fund, c/o Westwoods Branch of Farmington Savings Bank, 282 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington, 06032. The Carmon Windsor Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements. Please visit www.carmonfuneral homes.com for condolences and messages.

I was so saddened to learn of your loss -- Lynn was at a beautiful age! I grew up with Lynn's dad Diquel; we were neighbors. I remember Lynn (and sisters) when she was little -- how time flys. My sincere condolences to the family --I'm so sorry Joan and Dick to learn of this loss. Love to all, Lucinda
