Roman Addazio Obituary

Roman Brown Addazio, 34, of Portland and previously of Glastonbury, passed away on Sunday (February 6, 2022) at his home, very unexpectedly and far too soon. He was born in Hartford on March 10, 1987 the son of Anthony Addazio and Nancy Brown. Roman grew up in Glastonbury and graduated from Glastonbury High School class of 2005. He went on to Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. Sports were his greatest passion. He was an avid New England Patriots fan as well as the Boston Red Sox. He could tell you the stats from any player in any year. He was also a big fan of the NHL and grew up attending the Wolf Pack games with his family. He loved everything that had to do with Halloween and horror movies. He had posters of his favorite films covering the walls to his room for his entire life. Roman played a huge roll in taking care of his parents in recent years. Besides his parents, Roman leaves his sister Lindsay Addazio, they were only 20 months apart in age; his brother-in-law, Kyle Beausoleil. He also leaves his two beloved nieces, Kylie and Lyla, who he enjoyed playing toss with whenever he came for a visit. He loved his cat Moxy and visited her often at his mother's home. He will be forever loved and missed so dearly. Family and friends are invited to call at the Asylum Hill Congregational Church, 814 Asylum Ave. Hartford on Friday (February 18, 2022) from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. A brief service will immediately follow. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Please share online expressions of sympathy, memories, or photo tributes at www.rosehillfuneralhomes.com.

I knew Roman for such a short time, but the character he showed spoke volumes to who he was. An extremely friendly, and joyful soul, who loved to talk sports and crack jokes, helped me crack out of my shell at a new job, and he will certainly be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends who are grieving.

My condolences to Roman's family. Sending prayers for healing and peace during this difficult time and loss. Roman, you were an excellent person to work with and brought such joy to work. I had a blast talking to you and talking about sports since we knew how much of a Boston sports fan you was. Your passing is painful and you're going to be missed. You are a blessing to us all and this is hard that you are gone but you will never be forgotten.

Roman... this is so unfair. I can't believe that I'll never talk to or see you again. When I heard the news, a piece of me left forever. I love you and I'll never forget you.

I love you Roman. We always had the same tastes in movies like the Terminator and Rocky. We shared a passion for mainly the Red Sox, and would speak almost every day sometimes for hours about the players and the management and coaches for many years including just this last season. I will miss our conversations the most. The Red Sox will never be the same without you. I loved having you over for Thanksgiving a few years back, it was like when we were kids having sleepovers and staying up to late watching movies. We played tons of basketball together, home run derby and you loved to laugh. We loved to laugh together. I´ll miss saying just about anything to you on a random day just to hear your laugh. You are very missed and very loved. Your Brother,
