To the Hepple family, so sorry to hear about the loss of your son, brother, father, grandfather. I have so many good memories from the "neighborhood crowd". Steve would always make you laugh and was fun to be around. Cherish the time you had with him and what he brought into your lives.

I had the good fortune to have met Steve when we were youngsters in elementary school and enjoyed his friendship from that time frame right through our high school graduation. A true and sincere individual and an absolute class act as a student athlete that always influenced others with the utmost in integrity. Steve will be missed by many as he touched folks with warmth, wit and human decency among other gifts in making him the special person that he has been. He will surely grace heaven with his presence, kicking it up exponentially in notches upon arrival. May the Hepple family be blessed with the utmost in strength now and forever knowing that Steve is safe in a place that he is ever worthy and deserving to occupy. For those of us who knew Steve, we can agree that he is truly the kind of individual who has made our world an extremely gratifying one.

I'm shocked. I just had a great visit with him and Peter. Peter left us alone for a bit and Steve and I reminisced for an hour: two old men talking about the good old days. Of course we talked about sports, Newington, high school days- Frank O'Rourke stories, working, yes, a part of that beast of a 40 foot aluminum ladder he used to paint houses is still around. We laughed a fair amount and had some serious talk and I guess that's it for one proud papa.

I've known you since ~1970 when our parents got together - 47 years is a long time to know some one and although we had had our up and downs in the distant past and unfortunately for me we had not kept in very good touch through the more recent ones, I still feel the sorrow and am awash with memory how good a person you have been through your very short life.
I believe you are going to a place from which you can grow in different ways and hope that your struggles on earth put you at the top.
With love and faith,
K

I have worked with Steve for the past 23 years. We've had so many laughs! We talked about everything. His daughters/grandkids were his world and he always spoke about how much he loved them. Politics was always an argument in the office but we always finished it with a joke. I will miss you Steve! I love you. I can't believe your gone. Rock the heavens! Until we see each other again! Xoxo
