Sue-Ellen remains an inspiration to so many and will continue to improve the lives of others through the years.
I was fortunate enough to be a childhood friend of Kevin's, grow up on the same street as Chris and know Sue-Ellen through school. Sue-Ellen's generosity and caring will never be forgotten. As an only child living in a different city, I will always remember and be grateful for Sue-Ellen stepping in to help my mother when she needed assistance and I could not get back to Wethersfield.
The Murphy and Lyons families are strong, good-hearted families with great character and my prayers are with you all.

Although I have not seen her in many years, Sue-Ellen was always one that I will remember as a beautiful, happy woman who had a heart of gold. Please know that she is in God's arms - and at peace. Dear Chris, Erin, Carol-Ann, Aunt Gerry & Christine ~ we are so completely overwhelmed with sadness that Sue is no longer with us physically. But I'd like to think that she has her wings already - she earned them while she was here on earth. She's has a big job to do up there being a Guardian Angel for so many. I keep picturing her glowing face and friendly smile. She was truly a genuine person and could light up a room with her mere presence. We will miss her so very much.

I am so sorry for your loss. If there is anything that I can do, please let me know. I will be there Tuesday and Wednesday, but if there is anything you need before hand just contact me and let me know. Mrs. Lyons was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold, and since I have been friends with Erin, Mrs. Lyons has always been caring, and very kind hearted. She always had a smile on her face, and I don't think I have ever seen her mad or upset for more then 10 minutes. She will be missed, and I hope that her pass was painless and without suffering.

My mother told me yesterday of Sue Ellen's death and I was shocked. I had spoken with her several months ago and she sounded wonderful; positive as usual; and she told me that she was going to "beat it". I wanted to see her during my visits to CT but she was not well enough - I so wish I could have spent a few minutes with her to catch up after all these years. I remember well the fun times we had at WHS and her incredible zest for life. She was so kind to me when my son Andrew died at a very young age; I remember her attending his funeral. I'm sorry I will not be able to come to Sue's services, but you, Erin and all of your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I will always remember Sue's smile. With my love and deepest sympathy,

I don't know if you remember me but I came with Sue to visit you in Naples one February. I am so sorry to hear of her death. Although Sue and I didn't keep in touch that often, I still thought of her as one of my friends. She had a spirit and adventure for life.
