Don Suber Obituary
Hattiesburg - Don Roger Suber, age 71, died on Friday, February 1, 2019. Don was born December 20, 1947 to James and Josie Suber at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, Miss. He was the eldest of four children. His family moved to Hattiesburg when he was a child. Don attended Sacred Heart High School where he was an excellent basketball player. He graduated in 1965.
Shortly after graduation, Don went into the grocery store business where he became a successful manager for The Robert's Company. He managed stores in south Mississippi at the beginning of his career and eventually moved into Louisiana, making his home in Slidell. Don enjoyed his career for over 40 years.
Don is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara; sons Greg Suber, Jeremy Suber, Chris Parker; daughters Candice Suber and Allison Suber Baxter; twelve loving grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings Judy Aultman, Danny Suber and Robbie Suber and by a host of nieces and nephews who all loved him very much. Don was preceded in death by his father, James, and we know they are enjoying a wonderful reunion right now.
