Jesse Dearman Obituary
Petal, MS
Jesse W. Dearman of Petal, MS passed away on January 2, 2016 at the age of 97.
A celebration of life will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Moselle Memorial Church in Moselle. Military rites will be performed by the VFW Post 3036 Honor Guard. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg and beginning at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Moselle Memorial Church.
Jesse was born in Covington County, MS. He served in the Army during World Way II in Africa, Sicily and Italy. He was in the Mississippi National Guard and retired at Camp Shelby in 1978.
Jesse was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Jean Bone Dearman; his parents, I.W. and Dicy Dearman; his sister, Louise Blackledge and a special friend, Ruby Wright.
Jesse is survived by two daughters, Edith Ann Rollison (Larry) of Petal; Nancy Jane Blount (Steven) of Ocean Springs; one son, Jesse Howard Dearman (Juli) of Parker, AZ; two grandchildren, Cathy Glenn (Greg) of Austin, TX and Debbra McNeil of Petal; three great-grandchildren, Jorden Rollison of Petal, Erika Schlicher of New Iberia, LA and Lily Glenn of Austin, TX.
The family would like to thank the member of Moselle Memorial Baptist Church, also Forrest General Hospice and Amedicist Home Health for the love and kindness they showed to Jesse.
Memorials may be made to Moselle Memorial Baptist Church, 6 Beason Rd., Moselle, MS 39459.
